Pink Posey Necklace from Polymer Clay

I’m a sucker for any kind of a flowers, especially ones I can wear around my neck. This necklace started as an experiment to see how I could integrate wire/wired pieces into my designs. The flowers and leaves were made from molds and highlighted with a Krylon gold leafing pen and tiny glued-on holeless gold beads. The ladybugs were made with poly clay and acrylic paint.

Great inspiration for the rest of us who love flowers but can't make them.

  3. I agree it would be great to see pictures of you wearing your wonderful creations (and I will join in the spirit of things and get some one to take a picture of me using my cake forks lol)

The ladybirds are a nice touch that make it more interesting.

Can't wait to see what you make next...

  5. Love your flowers, Anita! You need to join our guild...Arizona Polymer Clay Guild. We happen to go up to Prescott in September for a Polymer Clay Retreat. You can drive down and have some fun claying with us! Cottonwood is not too far north from Prescott...think about it.

  9. I love how the ladybugs show up again!

And it seems you did figure out a sweet way of combining the flowers and wire components into a very pretty piece of jewelry!
